Federal Contract Lookup
Pull every federal award for any company by name. See agency, NAICS, dollar amount, and period — sourced directly from USAspending.gov.
Why this exists
Federal contracting is one of the highest-leverage signals in B2B. It tells you who passed FedRAMP, who survived past performance reviews, who has SCAs in place, and who has the go-to-market chops to navigate a federal procurement. Before any conversation with a vendor that sells into government, the first question is what they have actually won.
USAspending.gov has the answer. The search interface is fine; this page wraps it for the way most operators actually want the question answered: paste a name, see total awards, top agencies, and the trend.
Frequently asked questions
What does Federal Contract Lookup return?
Every federal award (contract, grant, loan, subcontract) for any company by recipient name. Returns awarding agency, NAICS classification, dollar amount, period of performance, and award type. Filterable by time period and award type. Sourced direct from USAspending.gov.
Is the data complete?
USAspending.gov is the official congressionally-mandated transparency portal — it includes all federal contracts above $25K and all grants. Sub-$25K contracts are summarized but not itemized. Coverage runs back to FY 2008 with full data; pre-2008 has gaps. State and local awards are not included.
When is this used in diligence?
Pre-acquisition revenue verification on a federal-services target, competitor-positioning analysis (who wins on what NAICS), opening-position research for a federal sales call, and journalism on federal spending patterns.
